but at 1:30 ish the co-host says don't worry ted il be doing the interview, which still implies that she directed the joke to ted, I'm not sure why you are digging so hard as if there is some secret intricate plot or some shit.

You're obviously slow. The guy who greeted him who ted was calling a "class act" was her co-host. She was making a joke by saying, "Who is he talking about?" As if to say her co-host couldn't have been that person when it was obvious.
