I hear you. I never understood why gaga, bieber, etc. get so much attention. It is all marketing. I'm actually okay if bands like fun. or The Format don't get as much attention. It makes them easier to like when they're not the big thing that everyone is talking about. Some of the artists you mentioned are overplayed so much that it gets really old and tired. Did you ever listen to The Format? If you like fun., you'll appreciate The Format. Same vocalist.

He probably wrote that after seing a review by Tod in the shadows. I really see where he's comming from. The harmonies in singing and guitar solos is VERY Queen influenced, but everything else is really nothing like them. Queen wrote FAR better songs :P

though in my country they are still not popular enough :\ i mean people listen to that song, but in reall that;s the only their song which is massively recognaised and listened by people (we are young) im just confused labout lady gaga, justin biebber, lil wayne and e.t.c(rubbish)to have hundreds of millions wievs and the groups like fun just 2 millions?(aproximetily 60 million yea?)so it pretty confuses and annoys me, id like to see tham more and more popular to gift us with betternbetter songs

really? I can't turn on the radio where I live without hearing We Are Young being played every hour on 4-5 stations. I'd say they're pretty popular, but I used to think the same thing about The Format, Nate's old band. I always thought they were pretty good and should get more recognition. I think The Format has better songs than fun. but that's just personal opinion I guess.

fun. is alright, although I prefer The Format (this vocalists previous band). I feel that The Format had more soul, whereas fun. is a little too poppy for my taste. Still, not bad and cool to see Nate making it big with fun. Just wish more people knew about the Format and that Nate and Sam didn't part ways as musicians. They were a good team. |
