... Football, Tennis, Hockey, Badminton, Table Tennis, Snooker, Darts, Rounders (baseball was played in England first) etc etc. Golf was also played in England before Scotland, along with bagpipes. Basketball is your guys' sport, while A Football is an abomination of ruggers. ;-)

Sure, but there are also O'Sullivan fans outside of the UK who could know about basketball. Also, I can't give you another example because I don't know anything about Cricket, Rugby or {insert typical English sport}. I don't even think that there is an example in football that comes close to this. |
